Starting to play board games with your kids in their early years, can help build strong relationships and bond with their family. 1.Lucky Ducks just happens to be my one of my twins favorite board games. And they started playing super early,(when they were 2). Not only does it help with turn taking, but it helped them to recognize same and different, builds vocabulary development, shapes and color recognition. This is a perfect game for toddlers.

2.Zingo This is a perfect board game to develop language and to teach turn taking! My older son loved this game starting from when he was 2! It helps to build language development as well as vocabulary. Kids of all agers will enjoy this game.

3.Hungry, Hungry, Hippos is a classic family fun board game enjoyed by kids of all ages. Always a laugh and it teachers kids counting skills, more and less than, as well as winning and losing. The newer versions come with Hungry, Hungry Dino and Hungry, Hungry Unicorn, which both have the same concept just different characters.

4.Elefun This fun game will have your kids chasing butterflies and catching them with a net. It is a good way to get them up and running around. It may not be a typical board game, but your toddler will love it!

5.Yeti In My Spaghetti is a hilarious board game that encourages family bonding as well as turn taking. It’s also a great way to teach your young toddler about winning and losing.

6.ABC and 123 Bingo Bingo is always fun for everyone! And Bingo ABC and 123 is a fabulous way to encourage number and letter recognition with your little toddler. Get a head start on basic literacy concepts.

7.Don’t Break the Ice This is a favorite for all my kids! It helps to promote turn taking, sharing and strategic thinking patterns. It’s easy to set up and helps with strategic planning. It will definitely create a bond between children of all ages.

8.Don’t Spill the Beans This fun 2 player board game with create laughter, turn taking skills and is just an overall good time.

9.Peppa Pig Chutes and Ladders This board game is a spin off of the Classic Chutes and Ladders, but the same fun! Peppa goes up the ladder and down the slides, creating fun for your toddlers.

10.The Ladybug Game You get to learn some facts about bugs as well as early addition and subtraction facts. What’s awesome about this board game, is that a first grader created it!

11.Fishing game This is a great game that can be played with up to 4 players. It teaches patience and turn taking as well as reinforces counting and cardinality.

12.Greedy Granny My kids love to play this game together. Creates lot of laughs and memories! It is appropriate for 3 and up!

12.The Sneaky, Snacky Squirrel GameThe perfect toddler and preschool board game. Kids simply spin the spinner to see what to do next, practicing colors, numbers, and counting as they play. Reinforces color learning, practices matching skills, builds hand-eye coordination, develops strategic thinking, fine motor skills, and more.

13.Ants in the Pants Hilarious board game! Everyone will have a great time launching ants in the pandas pants.

14. Wet Head Game Wet Head can be played indoor or outdoor. It’s a fun surprise to see who will get wet!

15. The Floor is Lava Every kid will love this classic game of The Floor is Lava. The best is everyone can play- toddlers, kids and parents!
